On the 6th episode, Anthony and Al discuss whether the movie "Black Hawk Down" from 2001 is worth rewatching or not!
What do you remember about "Black Hawk Down"? Did you see it in the theaters back then? This war movie based on real events in the early 90's stars Ewan McGregor, Josh Hartnett, and a cast of other stars in supporting roles hits hard with the action. It was directed by Ridley Scott fresh off his Academy Award winning effort with "Gladiator."
So how does this movie hold up? What did the critics say back then? With all the new movies and TV shows nowadays, should you put all that aside and watch this war movie again?
All these questions answered and more on this episode of "Worth A Rewatch?"
Check out the trailer below as the first "rewatch"!
A war film with 2 hours of endless shooting and unnecessary gruesome shots, but with little to zero character development. Couldn't even distinguish the characters midway through the movie cuz there were way too many

Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer
I dislike this movie for the same reasons that I dislike Hurt Locker, American Sniper and Body of Lies. The film simply acts as a retelling of a story from the very biased American viewpoint. Its basically a form of propaganda.
Like most other war films, this film also lacks a clear protagonist who we should root for. Instead we are presented with more than twenty characters at the films beginning without being given any introduction. It is very difficult to keep track of whos who and whats happening to everyone.
The action sequences are largely filmed in dark light which makes them hard to see and very difficult to folow.
The whole film is too long. There is only enough plot and action to merit ablut an hour, but proper character introduction and development could drag it out to a hundred minutes or so.
Generally, extremely dull.
