On the 2nd episode, Anthony and Al discuss whether the movie "Planet of the Apes" from 2001 is worth rewatching or not!
What do you remember about "Planet of the Apes"? Did you see it in the theaters back then? This was supposed to be the remake/reimagining of the 1968 film with Charlton Heston. Mark Wahlberg takes the lead this time with new special effects and more lifelike ape costumes.
But how does this movie hold up? What did the critics say back then? With all the new movies and TV shows nowadays, should you put all that aside and watch this sci-fi flick again?
All these questions answered and more on this episode of "Worth A Rewatch?"
Check out the trailer below as the first "rewatch"!
Tim Burton remake of Planet Of The Apes is underrated. No deep message like most of the franchise but the comic relief gives some breath. The acting, Human eyes underneath it all makes it more real for me. Ending people cry about was a nice twist.

Feeling very nostalgic. Went on date in 2001 in Germany while in the army. I was 18 years old. I feel asleep during the film. I'm now 39 watching it for second time. It's not bad don't understand the hate.

but many find it enjoyable, especially for its strong cast, impressive makeup, and unique take on the story. While it may not be as critically acclaimed as the original or the newer trilogy, it offers a different experience and can be entertaining, especially if you appreciate Burton's style or enjoy the "what if" scenarios.
